30% Grenache

o Thunderstone Vineyard (Royal Slope)

25% Mourvédre

o Des Estes Longs Vineyard (Columbia Valley)

An “SGM” style blend, led by Syrah, with Grenache and Mourvèdre in strong supporting roles, to round out the blend.  Each varietal was fermented separately, then blended after aging independently for 16 months in barrel.

Aromas of black fruit, dried violets, licorice, asphalt, peppercorn, capers, ash, leather, cedar, with a whiff of créme brûlee.

Flavors of blue/black fruit, with hints of citrus and wood, salt, white pepper, dried herbs, smoke, and Chinese 5-spice..

40% French Oak (2nd Fill).  60% Neutral Oak.  14.7% ABV
