Varietally pure, aged in 2nd Fill French oak, and barreled as 69% “very lightly” pressed juice, these aspects combine to showcase the layered primaries of the grape itself.  Drinkable now, yet the depth and extraction will reward this wine via time in the cellar.

Aromas of blackberry, bramble, gravel, mineral, hints of coffee bean and brown sugar, with subtle floral elements.  The palate is well structured, with vanilla, blackberry, and cedar.  Brooding depth offers a long farewell.

100% French Oak (2nd Fill).  14.9% ABV
