Fruit driven and made in a light style, yet with a rich, full mouthfeel.  Extended maceration after fermentation and aging in 2nd Fill French oak provides complexity and age worthiness.

Aromas of strawberry, slate, crushed gravel, apricot, subtle floral notes, and a hint of orange peel.  The palate follows with spice, ripe red cherry, licorice, walnut, subtle earth, and finishes with a plush lactic softness.
