5% Merlot

o Olsen Vineyard (Yakima Valley)

This wine is varietally driven, focusing on minimal use of oak and emphasizing the land and location where the fruit was grown.  A small portion of Merlot helps to round out the wine with fruitiness and provides youth the earth forward Franc..

Aromas are earthy with alfalfa, black tea, dried flower petals, dry cocoa powder, and remind one of a wistful country road, with whispers of a nearby raspberry farm on the breeze.

The palate is approachable and as smooth as flying first class, with red berries, dust, hay, and herbaceous hints of dill and jalapeño.

95% Neutral Oak,  5% French Oak (2nd Fill).  14.7% ABV
